    Offline vs online investment

Let's say you have a set amount of money to invest in your new business. Would you use that money to get a good building and advertisement banners? Or would you rather use the fund to set up a good website, pay for online ads, or get endorsements from popular Instagram celebrities? Which one will benefit a new business more?

I personally would invest in an online business. The costs to get started online are so much lower than a brick and mortar business. Apart from saving money on rent and billboard ads, you can also hire freelancers remotely to do small tasks for you instead of hiring someone full time.

I'd base my decision on whether I was selling goods or services. If it's goods, then I'd probably use an established platform like eBay or Amazon to move my product. That would be a major cost savings, since I wouldn't need to pay for security or stress about keeping my customers' credit card information safe. On the other hand, I'd take the Influencer route to help get my name out there if I was selling a service.

It's hard getting our business recognized regardless of the platform; there is just no easy way around it. However, I think we have more options with online ads. For example, expanding on what Jacobs said, we can pay influencers to try and promote our goods on their social media. I like how the screen doesn't really stop us from trying different things.
