My wife made a chocolate cake for my birthday when we were still dating. It looked absolutely scrumptious, and it was clear that she'd gone through a lot of effort to make it special. Well, it tasted terrible! I didn't want to hurt her feelings, so I ate the whole slice and poured on the compliments. Well, later that night, my wife took a bite and realized she'd added salt instead of sugar. Later she confided that's when she knew I was a keeper as I had put her comfort before my own.

That made me laugh LOL.
I think the worst dessert I have ever eaten was when I was traveling in Turkey. Don't get me wrong, I love Turkish food, but that particular dessert was horrible. It was made with tahini and I almost got sick after tasting just one bite!
