Quitting Your Day Job

With the new year starting, most people have resolutions and new goals etc. Have you ever set a goal to start your own business and eventually quit your day job?

I have to be honest, I have had these thoughts for a few years now, but I haven't taken the step yet. I am always worried about failing.

What do you guys think?

At the moment, I see businesses as a side project. If it grows big enough to support me without my current day job, that's when I will think about quitting. I don't think I can take that big leap right now. What kind of Plan B do you think we can prepare if we want to go all in, Ramona?

I agree with breeeze; starting a business from scratch should be like a side gig in the beginning. Once it takes off and you feel that it can support you, then you might start thinking about quitting your day job. I don't mean to discourage you, but it may take years.
