It's an older book that I'd been meaning to read for a while and finally got around to it. I should've left it on the shelf. The author, Tim Ferris, mostly relies on anecdotes and bro-speak to fluff out the book. It's just another book of recycled platitudes that we've all heard before. Look elsewhere if you're looking for something in depth.

I read it ages ago. The book was a bestseller when it first came out, and I remember feeling much like you after I'd read it. I think the title draws people in. I love the idea of working fewer hours, but still getting a lot done during the work week - who wouldn't? However, I found the author egotistical and a little dishonest as well. Ferris claims to be self-made, but the reality is that he's from a wealthy family and had a head start in life.

I haven't actually read the book, although I have heard about it. The title always sounded too good to be true
