Hear me out on this one and keep an open mind. I'm beginning to think that Amazon's overall value is inflated. I don't doubt that the company does a lot of business, but they also see a lot of returns, and all that shipping back and forth has to dramatically eat into its profits. Plus, when buyers return items, Amazon can't turn around and resale the stuff as new. Surely that also diminishes the value. What's your opinion?

I've had that same thought for years, rosey posey. I thought it was telling when Amazon reported that it is losing money on Alexa, which is their successful AI. Amazon laid off some staff members that worked on the software. If something as successful as Alexa isn't profitable, then it makes me wonder what is a failure.
