    To become an investor

Starting up a business from scratch may not be so difficult, but keeping it afloat and making profits are completely different subjects. Do you think it's childish if I choose to go down the route of becoming an investor instead? It sounds like a big move if I can help someone's business to stay alive and get some nice income for myself along the way.

Let me know of some ideas you think could create a successful company. Becoming an investor requires successful capital. Why don't you try exploring which companies look the most profitable?

If we are to choose a field to invest in, we should be looking at businesses that are generally needed almost every day. Food industry seems promising enough, but it's also facing a lot of competition. Another is tech or IT companies, developing software and programs, especially looking at how we do things remotely more often since the pandemic.

I'm the same way. I already have a stressful job and a growing family, so I simply don't have the bandwidth left to run a business. Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone.

I don't think it's childish at all to want to invest in a business instead of building one from scratch. However, if I were you, I would prefer to invest in a business that is already making money. But that's just me.

That's true, it's better to go with businesses that are already showing growth compared to those just starting up. We may have to go against investors with stronger portfolios and funding, so the competition will be completely different. Then again, if we are not looking to make huge profits, we may still have a chance.
